Aaliyah ~ Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number ~ Review #68

I was a little late with getting around to hearing this one but even listening to it today it still sounds amazing, definitely has that 90s feel to it but some of the songs are just so smooth it doesn’t feel dated at all, looks like R. Kelly did most of the production and it shows, I’m guessing this was around the 12 Play era, the instrumentals have the same kinda feel to them, gone far too soon this is definitely worth a listen to any fan of R&B, a bit of something for everyone with this one…

  1. Cory you have such a diverse taste in music. It must be great to be able to find songs you like no matter what station you listen to. I admit I am limited in my own enjoyment of music. I can tolerate and listen to more than I can enjoy. You must have grown up really loving the different musical talents. Hugs

    • Hey friend hmmmmm yep I’ve accepted as of late I’m a bit out there with my taste and thoughts on things, I’ll say I had a very unique up bringing, hell more now than ever it seems a unique living in general it seems…

Ive noticed lately all the bloggers I like and truly enjoy yourself included are storytellers in a way, while I know I have enough stuff around me to review days on end, I’ve been flirting with the idea of breaking the fourth wall and putting a bit more…. life in it if you catch my drift, its like part of what being a blogger is, lol oddly enough I personally don’t feel like one, I guess should I ever reach your level then maybe then I guess…

Goodness I went completely off topic didn’t I lol, but yes my taste are plentiful, and guess what lol I didn’t even get to the really interesting stuff yet lol…

      • Cory I love the idea. As a start if you want to move slowly into it, write a blurb for the things you post. Add to it how you found the item, when you first had interaction with it, and what it meant to you at that point.
The blogs I enjoy most have parts of the blogger in them. Not in every post maybe, but enough to let you get to know the blog author. People love to feel they know the blogger. Just one caveat. Decided first how much of yourself you wish to have out there. I am totally open including my pictures. My husband Ron is much more reserved with his information and pictures. Some people make avatars to avoid anyone recognizing them. I use to give my personal address and that was abused on me so I now just give the general area I live in.
I look forward to learning more about you. Be well, have a great night. Hugs
